Terri & Sylvia: Wedding Reception LessonSylvia and Terri wanted to bring their guests in on the dancing action and arranged to hold a mini-lesson during cocktail hour. We were blessed with a gorgeous early spring evening (after weeks of rain!) and almost every guest took part as we danced the "Micaela" Salsa Line Dance on the back deck. It was so much fun! |

Michelle & Ian: Wedding SwingMichelle and Ian were a blast to work with. They're also splendid dancers; they picked up this relatively challenging number in only 5-1/2 hours and then followed this dance with a hip hop number, choreographed by Ian! |

Sabrina's Quinceanera: Court of Honor Waltz
Venue: San Francisco Italian Athletic Club It was great fun to work with Sabrina and her dad on their father-daughter foxtrot, as well as this Court of Honor Waltz to The Blue Danube with her 14-member court. |

Yoojin & Ken: Wedding Cha Cha
Yoojin and Ken chose a lovely version of 'Islands in the Stream' for their first dance. That version actually didn't get played for their dance. But they stepped onto the dance floor and didn't miss a beat. It looks like they've been practicing to this rendition all along! |

Stephanie & Ben: Wedding Swing
Stephanie and Ben chose the very fun "Wagon Wheel," by Old Crow Medicine Show, for their first dance. They had this to say: "The dance was so much fun, and a lot of our guests said it was their favorite part of our wedding! Thank you again for your amazing expertise and talents in teaching a few novices how to cut a rug on our big day!" It was my pleasure, guys!! |

Ashley & Matt: Wedding Mambo
Ashley & Matt wanted to re-create the final mambo from the 80's classic Dirty Dancing. We worked together, first on the basics of the mambo, and then to perfect this intricate (and fast!) choreography. Luckily, no falling off of logs was required. As you can hear in the video, they wowed their guests! |
A great big THANK YOU to everyone who has provided clips of their dance!

Sofia and John's Flashmob "Training Video"
I thought it would be fun to have a "flashmob" at our wedding. With guests coming from all over, I recorded the choreography & created instructional videos so that our guests could learn the dance - wherever they were, & at their own pace. Video from the wedding will be up shortly. In the meantime, you can see a photo here.
