OTHER WEDDING/EVENT VENDORS
If you're looking for some vendor recommendations, give these fantastic folks a look.
Kimbrough Salas Music - DJI've had the chance work with DJ Kimbrough at a couple of events for which I've taught lessons. He's professional, fun, super helpful, and keeps the crowd dancing with a mix of great music. I found him a pleasure to work with! |
Belle by Marine - Hair and Makeup
* Say that you heard about Marine here & receive $25 off * Marine did the hair and makeup for my mom, four bridesmaids, and me; our beautiful 'looks' lasted from early morning until late into the night. She was a pleasure to work with from the trial onward. Marine also had the terrific idea to add a decorative element to my hair (from the trim of my veil), so that there would be some sparkle when I removed the veil after photos. |
Sweet Adeline Bakeshop - Cake
Boy, what a tasty cake - and great experience, from first tasting to wedding. I highly recommend their Almond Cake with Strawberries & Whipped Cream and White Cake with Lemon Curd & Whipped Cream. I also like to stop for a tasty treat when I'm in the neighborhood. Everything I've had thus far has been delicious. |
Poppy's Petalworks - Florist
Laura made truly stunning arrangements for our bouquets & aisle decorations. We came in to our first meeting rather unknowledgeable about flowers; Laura was absolutely lovely, and worked with us to choose flowers that we liked, that worked with our color palette, and that also accommodated our budget. |
Malia's

Malia May - Dress Alteration
Malia altered my dress so that it fit like a glove, and also made a sash to go with the dress. She is incredibly down to earth and fun to work with, and very reasonably priced. I also didn't have to begin alterations months before the wedding, which was a relief. Malia works incredibly quickly, but without ever feeling, or making you feel, rushed. Everything was done within 3 weeks! |
